BIOGRAPHY
Wade is a strategic-thinking senior executive and general counsel with an extensive corporate background and over 30 years of legal and business experience. Most recently, Wade was Senior Vice-President and General Counsel of McNair Interests, a private equity, real estate, and management company founded by the late Robert C. McNair and part of the McNair family of businesses that also included the Houston Texans NFL team.
Prior to that, Wade served as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel for Academy Sports and Outdoors, the second largest sporting goods retailer in the United States and Senior Corporate Counsel for the Home Depot, the largest home improvement retailer and one of the largest retailers in the world. Wade started his legal career at Troutman Pepper Locke (formerly Lord Lorde and Locke Liddell & Sapp), a premier, full service American Lawyer Top 100 law firm in Houston, Texas, specializing in commercial litigation and complex disputes. Wade holds a JD from the Vanderbilt School of Law, an MBA from the Ohio State University, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
